This is a very rare guitar, only made for a short time period. It has been upgraded with a set of amazing sounding Lollar P90 pickups. Gibson made the Gem series in 5 colors, each represents the color of a precious or semi-precious gem. This guitar was called the "Amethyst" which is one of the hardest colors to find. As for playability, this guitar has low action, and plays great. The pickups are everything you could want or expect from a P-90 equipped Gibson. The Gem series guitars are very hard to find and are very sought after. This is a great example in nice clean condition showing only normal play wear. Includes it original hard shell case.
