Throback Electronics offers another classic Signature Sound effect with the Strange Master a recreation of the Germanium Dallas Range Master used by Eric Clapton, Brian May and Tony Iommi.
In keeping with our Signature Sound philosophy we have offered adjustments that allow you to shape the sound of this effect. The guitar heroes of the 60's and 70's paid to customize their effects to create their own signature sound. We now give this control to you right out of the box with the Strange Master.
As far as we can tell we are the only company offering a Dallas Rangemaster clone with a bias, boost and range adjustment. This bias knob allows you to change the character of boost from flabby to tight. Switchable range allows treble and full boost germanium distortion. Recreate the Clapton Beano tone or the singing overdrive of Brian May with this pedal, its all in there.
