1986, Made In Japan, Double Bound, Candy Apple Red, 1962 Reissue Telecaster Custom. These 1980’s Made In Japan Reissues are well known for their quality and craftsmanship and this example no exception. It has been upgraded with a Seymour Duncan in the bridge position which offers a full loud output with excellent sustain and tone. The neck pickup cavity was slightly widened to accommodate a Strat pickup at one time but now the original neck pickup has been reinstalled. There is some player wear wear with a few dings and scratches, think light Relic. Because the guitar is 30 years old, it is starting to age nicely and has a cool vibe that you just can’t get from a brand new instrument. This is a great guitar with excellent tone that is a lot of fun to play. Comes with a beat but completely functional hard shell case
