This is an extremely rare Gibson Custom Shop guitar. Inspired by a Tone Quest Report article, approximately 36 of these made between late 2003 to early 2004. It is essentially a wraptail 54' reissue but factory routed for humbuckers instead of P-90s. This example has a huge 50's neck profile, the wrap around tailpiece adds sustain, plus it has been upgraded with a set of Rolph 58 Pretender pickups w/ aged nickel covers. The Rolph pickups are the closest thing to real PAF pickups you are going to hear. They are expensive and worth every penny because they sound truly amazing. The playability of this guitar is superb, low action, big neck. Overall condition is very clean with just some minor clear coat player wear. This is a guitar that any Les Paul collector should be proud to own. Includes it's original Lifton style case and C.O.A.
