Here at G&E, we love es-335s. They are not only the perfect guitar for jazz or blues players but also killer rock guitars. This example is in super nice condition and has seen very little use of the years. It has nice subtle flame on the front and back... the pictures really do not do this beauty justice. This is an early Dot Reissue from 1982. The owner I purchased it from told me it had been custom ordered with a factory stereo Vari-tone. No way to confirm this through Gibson, but it most certainly does look original. This is a very cool feature that makes this guitar one of a kind, not to mention adding lot's of different tone variations. This guitar plays and sounds amazing. A top notch guitar in every respect. It also looks fantastic with a beautiful antique tobacco burst finish and naturally aged binding. Condition is also SUPER NICE with only typical player wear. Overall an extremely well kept example.

Gibson only offered this model for a year or two. Not very many were made and they are extremely hard to find making them a nice collectable guitar. The body style is somewhat like a Les Paul but shares more visual likeness with the discontinued Blues Hawk model.  This example plays and sounds awesome. It is extremely light weight and the tone is classic Gibson all the way with plenty of warmth and long sustain. Here is a seldom seen 1980's Gibson Les Paul Style Invader guitar. This model was only made for a few short years and are getting pretty hard to find. This is a very rare SG. Introduced in 1980 as the SG-R1, then renamed the SG Artist in 1981, then discontinued later that year. There were reportedly less than 200 of these made. This is an early first year example. It features factory active Moog electronics. It offers a really cool and unique range of tones. Everything from warm classic SG style tones to screaming hi output crunch. Really nice clean condition with only normal play wear. Includes a vintage brown Gibson rectangle hard shell case.
