Les Paul Customs are well known for incredible sustain, super low fast action, and killer tone. This one sounds and plays amazing. The DC-2 Dimension C is the world's first compact effect pedal
capable of creating the kind of "dimension" effects used in professional recording studios.
Dimension effects are an essential part of playing and recording today.
As implied by the name, a dimension effect adds tickness,
depth and a sense of width to the sound - a 3D effect.

It's a sound similar to the chorus effect, but with the DC-2,
amore dynamic and a much wider type of effect is produced,

with a minimum of the wavering that occurs in conventional chorus units.
A more effective use would be to employ the DC-2 in a stereo mode through its 2 outputs.
The built-in noise reduction circuitry keeps noise level down to those of studio rack units.

I use only the original spec (now obsolete) "Button Top" 2N3565 transistors, fully tested and sorted for gain. The other components are also of the highest quality: retina frying Ultra-blue LED indicators, high quality 3PDT switches (for TRUE BYPASS), metal film 1% resistors, silver solder, New Old Stock 1N34A germanium diodes, cool powder coat finishes, and the build quality is second to none.

Check out the controls:

VOLUME – Careful with this one….go much above 9:00 and you are dealing with a volcano!

TONE – Extremely versatile, dishing up just the right amount of bite or growl – A bit of play and you will find Jimi or Bachmann (Or you!).

SUSTAIN – this thing can go for days….and very useful and very cool interplay between the Volume and Sustain controls.

Note that there are TWO footswitches! One is your TRUE BYPASS WITH INDICATOR – Hard not to notice when this baby is steaming, but just in case your ears drop out, I have included a eye-searing blue LED to remind you “Hey! It’s on!” The second footswitch allows you to add an OCTAVE ABOVE! Yes, just like the original….only better! You can kick it in or out on the fly!!!! And to top it off, I HAVE ADDED ANOTHER LED TO INDICATE “OCTAVE IN”! As an added bonus, this lamp will stay on when the beast is bypassed, so you know what you’re in for when you stomp it in….

This special one of a kind Les Paul has all 78' pots, original solder joints, original patent stamp pickups, neck pickup dated Dec 1977. 100 percent original, no changes, and the only 1978 Les Paul in existence finished in this color. 
And if all that wasn't enough, it has all the proof to back it up. Included in the sale are it's original warranty paper work, Gibson Norlin letterhead customer order sheet [ showing it entered as a custom order in Silver Sparkle ], and the original sales receipt. Really nice excellent condition with just a few little dings. This guitar also plays and sounds amazing !!! This is a once in a lifetime chance to be the only person on this planet with a 1978 Custom Color Silver Sparkle Les Paul.

Here's a reality check on the price. Gibson in the mid 70's made hundreds of Red and Blue Sparkle Les Paul Deluxe models [ mini humbuckers ] .They have a high book price of $4500 and none are currently on the market. The Red and Blue Sparkle Les Paul Deluxe models are extremely rare and highly sought after. Keep in mind that there were HUNDREDS of them made.

Consider that this guitar is a Standard...not a Deluxe. Les Paul Standards have always been more popular than Deluxe models. Then consider that this guitar is the ONLY 70's LES PAUL STANDARD KNOWN TO EXIST IN SILVER SPARKLE !!! This is a must have for any serious Les Paul or Gibson collector !!!

[ including myself ]  It is a C shape that gets thicker towards the 12 fret. Chunky and comfy. This guitar also has a factory installed set of real USA vintage reissue pickups which sound great. Here's a killer sounding LP Deluxe with tons of vibe that won't break the bank. It has changed tuners and is missing the pickguard. If you have never had mini humbuckers...oh man...what a cool thing. They have the smooth mids and warm bottom of a PAF style humbucker but with added clarity and a nice top end bite. Average condition for a well loved and heavily played 70's Les Paul. Here is a very cool early production Gretsch Roc Jet from 1972. This is basically the model that the Duo Jet morphed into. It features a very thin body with single cutaway and two great sounding Super-tron pickups. This one is missing it's pickguard and one of the little "G" knob inserts, no big deal at all. Otherwise just typical player wear that you would expect from a 36 year old vintage Gretsch.  This is an extremely cool looking guitar that has a very unique tone. Rare model for less than the price of a new import Dup Jet. Includes it's original hard shell case.
